We invite you to enjoy a luxurious experience in our spa where licensed, professional therapists will soothe your body from head to toe with facials, massage, skin and nail treatments, body therapy and hydrotherapy. Whether you come for the day or decide to stay overnight in our historic Inn, the Five Senses Spa has a wide variety of spa packages to choose from. After you have completed your spa treatments, don't forget to select a small crystal from our Crystal Water Fountain as our gift to you.

 Making your Spa appointment
Here at the Five Senses Spa, we have but one goal…to pamper you. We want your spa services to be very memorable. Our spa is very popular and weekends book four weeks or more in advance. In order to ensure you have the appointment time(s) you would like, we suggest making your spa reservations at the same time you are reserving your lodging. Our staff will be very happy to assist you in coordinating your appointments and lodging reservation.

You are very special to us and we reserve your appointment with one of our many professionally trained and licensed therapists. Since our therapists are paid on commission, we ask that you cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance with no penalty. If services are canceled within 24-48 hours we charge 50% of the cost of services that were to be given. If the cancellation is made within 24 hours or less, the full charge for services will apply.

Your comfort level is our utmost concern. Therefore, if you prefer a male or female therapist, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please let us know when making your reservation if you have a preference.

Our spa has three levels of rooms and although we have an elevator, please mention if you have any mobility issues so we may better accommodate you.

 Age
We all love children, but we are an adult spa. Therefore, no one under the age of 14 may use our whirlpool tub. Generally the minimum age for all other services is 14 as well. Some exceptions are made. You may contact our Spa Director to inquire.

 Attire
One of the first questions many of our guests ask is “How should I arrive for my visit to the spa?” Our answer is come as you are! We are prepared to indulge you! The Five Senses Spa will supply you with robes, towels, and slippers for your spa experience if the services you've booked require it. We also provide lockers so that you may lock up your personal items. It is strongly suggested that you do not bring jewelry with you to the spa area.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so you may register and relax.

Our relaxing mineral whirlpool bath is private and big enough for two people to share. Bathing suits are not required while bathing in our whirlpool tubs. You may disrobe completely for your massage. Only areas of the body that are being massaged are exposed. If you would feel more comfortable, you may leave an undergarment on.

 Special needs and medical concerns
Please inform your therapist of any physical problems you are experiencing or of any allergies that you may have. This is your hard earned day of relaxation and rejuvenation. Good communication while making your reservation and with your therapist is key. Let him or her know about pressure of the massage, health issues, whether you need changes to the temperature of the room, brighter or dimmer lights or anything that would improve your spa experience.

Shaving or waxing less than 24 hours prior to a body scrub is strongly discouraged. Scrubs can be irritating to freshly shaven skin. We suggest that you drink water before and directly after your spa treatments. It is also suggested that you avoid alcohol before and after your services.

 Gratuities
Spa gratuities are not included in any of our packages or spa treatments. Restaurant gratuities and taxes are not included in dining allowance coupons. Gratuities are appreciated and are typically in the 15-20% range.

 Gift Certificates
A gift certificate for our services is the perfect gift. They may be purchased for any package or in any denomination. Gift certificates may be purchased through the front desk of the Inn and on our Web site.

 Spa Boutique
After a visit to our spa you may not want to leave, so travel home with one of our gift sets or baskets and enjoy a spa experience anytime. You may purchase many of the products used in our treatments in the Five Senses Spa Boutique, such as the Biotone creams and oils used for our massages. Continue the many benefits of the G.M. Collin skin care line used in most of our facials by taking the products home. You will also find all the latest OPI polish colors, Yon-ka Paris face and body skin care and beautifully fragranced candles and bath salts.
