The International Mother's Day Shrine located in Grafton, West Virginia was incorporated on May 15, 1972. The Mother's Day Shrine is a non profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Motherhood.

This historical landmark, built in 1873, will continue to promote and develop through education, the Spirit of Motherhood, as exemplified by the lives of Maria Reeves Jarvis and Anna Jarvis the founders that established theInstitution of Mother's Day.
